John Deere A Starter

I am working on a John Deere A (1943) and am in need of one brush holder spring. The Delco number for the spring is 34846, the starter is a Delco 1108914. Any information is appreciated.

Visit your local starter/alternator shop. That Delco stater was used on myriad of tractors, trucks and cars of that era. A good shop will have a drawer of brushholder parts.
