hydraulic problems still

I replaced the hydraulic pump on my 49 Farmal c but it is squealing or whining as soon as I start the tractor up. I do have water in the system. Could this be the problem? The system does work but as I raise the bucket it squeals louder. Ideas? I thought maybe the bucket is too heavy for the system but that doesn't explain the noise as soon as I start the tractor up. STRESS!!!! One more question. What type of fund should I be using? The dude I bought the tractor from gave me a container of why was left. It is ISO AW32 from Canadian Tire.is this ok? I feel like such a rookie. Thanks to all for your future help.
