Im new here and am looking for some help. I have a 1945 farmall h. The belt pulley end seal leaks. I've removed the pulley shaft from the tractor and the end gear , spacer that goes between the two bearings. Removed the snap ring off the bearing. Is the bearing pressed onto the shaft or held in place by the snap ring. I'm not able to get the shaft out to get to the seal and felt washer. i doing want to go beating on anything tha I don't need to. Thought that the bearing may be rusted to the shaft if it wasn't pressed on. Any help you can give will be appreciated.

There is a search box at the top of the page in classic view. Type in farmall belt pulley seal replacement. There are a bunch of posts on how to
do it. You need a press to remove the bearing.
