Muffler removal? (Farmall 300)

I'm trying to remove the upright muffler from the 300 I'm fumbling around with and I can't get it to budge.

The clamp came off easy enough but even after spraying it down with Liquid wrench and PB Blaster the muffler hasn't moved a bit.

So, Does anyone have any good methods for getting this cursed thing off? Maybe a big pipe wrench? Angle grinder? Dynamite?

Sometimes you have no choice but to cut it off and replace
with new one. Try a block of wood and hammer. You will
have to cut a bevel on the end of the 2x4 so it can get
right up next to the inlet.

Can you get some heat on it? Heat it up to red, wallow it around, it should stretch out enough to come off. If the muffler is being replaced, you can saw it off, split the tube and peel it off.

Thanks guys, I'll try your suggestions and if nothing works I'll cut it off. It probably should be replaced anyway if I get the tractor running.

I have rigged up to an overhead pic point with a strap, then beat on it at the joint. I left one with tension for a few days. I have also drilled a hole in the muffler pipe a couple inches up, being careful to go through just the muffler pipe, in order to spray penetrating oil in.

Guaranteed to work every time on new or old mufflers.
Hook a mower behind and cut the lawn around the trees, stay focused on what you are doing, as soon as the sound of the exhaust suddenly gets louder=mission accomplished.
Seriously though making a couple of slices with a zip wheel works good.
