Belarus 80 amp shunt Fuses Blowing

I have a Belarus 822 with the 12/24 volt system. It was starting up with no issues and then today when I went to start it, it made a clicking noise and I noticed the 80 amp shunt blown. I replaced both of them and as soon as I pushed in the ground switch both 80 amp shunt fuses blew?? I tried replacing them again and they blew again as soon as I pushed in the ground switch. I was hoping that maybe someone else has already experienced this issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Not familiar with that exact model, but from what you are describing, I would look for obvious problems with
the starter cables, battery cables, somewhere shorted to ground. Look for a pinched, abraded, burned, mouse
chewed cable. Could also be a shorted starter.

Have any of the cables or batteries been changed? Any possibility connections could have been switched or
reversed?

Nothing was changed. I kept thinking the problem was that 12/24 volt parallel switch box that sits between the batteries but it looks like it is the starter that has gone to ground. Thanks for the help
