I have a Fordson 2000 3cyl diesel and am getting conflicting information on the types of fluids required for both engine, and rear end. I am assuming a 30w will be good for engine and 80w or 90w for rear end/ hydraulics ?

this is what I have used in the past for rear end and hydraulic.

Since the dexta was invented in the 50s and the factory oil recommendations reflect oil availible back then...... PLEASE use a modern diesel HD motor oil. 15w-40 in chevron le, mobil delvac, or shell rotella will work fine and are DESIGNED for hd tractor use. Wallmart, most autoparts, and all truck stops will carry this oil. This oil will work far far better than 30 weight oil.
