has anyone rebuilt the hydraulic pump on these tractors before? are there any seal kits out there?

If the gears, Center sections and end plates are worn. Services from a machine shop maybe required .

gears and all are ok. plenty of pressure. just have an oil seep where pump housing bolts together. I have an old shop manual that shows an exploded view of pump and it shows a couple of seals inside. it also mentions a seal kit for the pump and I was wondering if anybody knew if they are still available.

sorry, it only seeps oil when under pressure, raising or lowering cylinder. --not all the time--just under pressure

Any good hydraulic repair shop can get you a seal kit for those. I dont remember what kind of pump that is but they are common.

I got lucky and found a NOS seal kit for my pump from Bates. All of the seals in that pump are standard o-rings and the two shaft seals are available also. As I recall, the only things you will have to make are two gasket shims.
