Massey 285 inj. Pump

I have a freeze plug behind the injection pump leaking. Need to remove the pump to replace. Anyone ever removed one off these tractors? Trying to get a few pointers before I start. Any help is apresheated

That injection pump is simple far as timing goes, make a note of where the housing ear flange mark is now, should be lined up with the timing cover mark. Remove the cover in front of the pump drive gear, remove the three gear bolts that thread into the pump hub. There's a pin in the gear that enters the hub groove so timing can't be off when going back together, and gear can't jump teeth while the pump is off. There's a single allen bolt in the gear/hub center, DO NOT remove it like some are tempted to do. Replace the plugs as needed and replace the pump.
