Motor Replacement Cockshutt 540

I have a 1962 Cockshutt 540, it currently has a flattop Continental 2.7 L/F162. It's burning oil pretty bad so I'm going to pull it out and replace it. I'd like to "up" the horsepower while I'm at it...so my question is, does anyone know if there's a larger motor that will fit/bolt up to this or do I have to stick with the F162? I think the original 162 is rated around 35 horse, I'd like to be running around 55 to 60 horsepower. Thanks a lot.

That motor doesn't have sleeves so it will probably have to be bored for larger pistons, that should increase your HP some there should be some other little things you could do to help out.
