The original subject was "Reparing 2010 John Deere Hydraulic Pump".

I also have a hydraulic prob @ 2010. But my PTO works and the stock hydraulic gauge reads 30 psi. Can you help me?

Where are you measuring 30 PSI, at one of the remote couplers with the lever moved to the correct position (if so equipped) or at the steering system, or???

I don't know. This is the gauge on the dash.

Are we working with a DEERE 2010 from the 1960 to 1965 era?

If so, there's NO hydraulic pressure gauge in the dash, or anywhere else (from the factory, anyway)!

Hi Bob
I'm Kinda thinking he's maybe looking at an engine oil pressure gauge if it's factory and on the dash! If so this could be a tough internet fix for somebody ;-).

Yep, but we will never know unless the OP posts back!

That being said, I have R+R'ed more 2010 pumps than I care to think about, and if the OP comes back, perhaps some of us can help hem.

Hi Bob yes totally agree with what you say if you want to help go right ahead. we have both been round forums for a while. some fixes are hard work, without being there and doing it. You know exactly what i Mean as you may be trying to explain things to a guy that doesn't have the pressure and flow gauges and the knowledge to use them, or diagnose a problem with things he doesn't understand, but hopefully they might learn real quick. I get this on the phone quite often with guys wanting advice and not pay me for call outs and hours, some of them phone a year later thinking I forgot who they are and they still haven't fixed the thing right or at all, had one last week still only using 3 gears on his tractor. They want exactly the same free advice/miricle cure again that got them no where last time. Sometimes a real life guy in the yard can save a lot of frustration for both party's. I hope he posts back and you can fix the problem quickly between you and save him some money.
Regards Robert
