Fuel pump rebuild?

I have a small four cylinder engine with a mechanical fuel pump that don't work. Does anyone know of a company that rebuilds them?
For now I am using an electric pump (It works fine) but I want this engine to look original. Thanks Jim

Hard foe us to help you help your self with out knowing what engine it is. That said I have seen many small engines like Wisconsin's with a fuel pump and Kolers also. Most of them I can get my local O'Reilly's auto parts get them for me

Need more information...

Does the pump come apart? If it has screws holding it together, open it up, see what's wrong. Sometimes it's just trash in a valve or a valve falls out, might can fix it.

Find the engine manufacturer, engine size, numbers, need a starting point. Look for a brand name and a number stamped in the side of the mount flange of the pump. If there is an old school independent auto supply near you, and they are cooperative, might find something. Some of the old suppliers still have real books to look through, obscure applications, industrial engines, etc. Some have pictures.

It's a Nikki pump for a early 60's Mazda, I does come apart with screws. Replacement is not available. The valves and diaphragm are in real poor shape from sitting for a long time.
That is why I'm looking to have it rebuilt.

Looked around the Interweb, didn't see anything promising. About all I saw was people that install rebuild kits. No kit and they can't help.

Appears Nikki is a popular pump on lots of Japanese cars. Possibly could find one with the same diaphragm, piece something together. If you could find your way into the NOS area of an import auto supply, maybe...

Ebay has several, hard to tell from pictures though. Might take a look there.
