The tractor will not start when using the starter but does s

I have a Hinomoto E280 that will not start when using the starter but does start when pulled. Any ideals what the problem could be.

Check your cranking voltage to your starter when making a start. Your battery voltage may be too low for your ignition. Hal

Does the starter spin it normally? If it's slow, could be the starter bushings, bad connection, low battery, etc.

How healthy is the engine? Does it run normally once started? Low compression can cause starting problems.

How is the engine shut down? Does it have a stop solenoid? Is it staying actuated when the starter is engaged?

The engine does sound normal, however,does have 2300 hours. Compression does sound very possible. Does M.M. have a number? Thanks for infor!

This seems to be ok.

As previously stated we need to know the voltage between the starter's cast body and the starters pos post WHILE cranking.
