1957 ferguson to35 distributor problem

The distributor on my 57 to35 locked up saturday. The weight and cam retaining plate broke at one of the hold down nuts and twisted around. Can't find parts but I did find a used distributor. My dist number is 1111740 and the used one is 1111722. Will they interchange. Or does anyone know where I can find parts for mine. I can't afford a new distributor right now. Any and all help is greatly appreciated

Do you have the used distributor yet? If so, compare it, if it will fit the block, the gear is the same, length the same, the rotation is the same (Hold the shaft, turn the rotor ccw, it should turn a few degrees and spring back. If so, it is correct.)

Best look at the bushings, make sure they are tight, take it apart, clean and grease everything.

How does the cam gear look? Best peek in at it, be sure it didn't break any teeth before putting in the distributor.
