1955 ford 960 hard to find part

Hello gents
My fathers first tractor was a 55 ford 960. He was in final stages of restore when he passed away unexpectedly
A few things I need to finish his passion are
Rear fenders
Front end worm gear for steering with upper and lower seals
It's a narrow front end and I do not know what the gear is really called
It steers fine but when traveling straight it wobbles. The gears are tapered
Anyone have thoughts where I can locate these? Or know someone willing to part?
I also have spare 8n parts

as you have noticed, rowcrop fenders are different than standard.

just got to find them where you can.

On the front stering pedistal.. the early ones are single piece, and the later ones are 2 piece.

the single piece. Last time I did one was maybee 5-6 years ago and I have a heck of a time finding seals...

also.. you MIGHT be able to take some backlash out of that front sector by using some shims and farm engineering. I did, with 'some' degree of sucess on a 950. however it's pretty beat to all heck and really, really needs a new front end.

IMHO.. that's the best fix for a worn out single piece front end. Replacement good single piece front end, or transplant of a 2 piece front end.
