Anyone with some experience removing piston wrist pin retaining rings? I bought from this web site a piston/ring/sleeve kit and assemble everything. I then notice that I had two pistons with the rod position numbers pointing away from the cam shaft which is not correct per the engine manual. Those "C" retaining clips that lock your wrist pins in place are impossible to remove. No tang to grab, no hole in the piston to allow you to gain leverage under the pin. Anyone know of a special tool and where I can buy it or some procedure I can do to remove them? I hate to destroy two brand new pistons, any help will be appreciated. Thanks

No special tool I know of. Just have to force a small, sharp screwdriver under it, pry it out. Be sure to
deburr the groove and spread the ring before putting it back in. It must fit back into the groove perfectly,
no gaps or raised ends.
