Filthy intake manifold on diesel MF3165

Hello,
I'm relatively new to tractors and hope that someone can provide advice. I purchased a fixer upper Massey Ferguson MF 3165 with the 203 Perkins diesel., and
am in the process of getting her going. When I looked at the air filter, it was filthy. The air cleaner and air inlet hose were filthy too. When I felt
inside the intake manifold, same thing. I've removed the manifold to clean it, but how do I clean the air intake? I'm afraid that I'll push some loose gunk
into the engine, and I'd rather not pull the motor apart any further.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Don't concern yourself with getting it all. The crevice tool worked best for me. If you have to modify it to get in deeper, do so. Good luck! Chuck

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!
