53 Ford NAA leaking Hydraulic Pressure Line

My 53 Ford NAA still has the Vane Type pump. The pressure line (smaller one)has developed some pin hole leaks about 3" down from the pump mounting flange. The loss of pressure will not allow the system to work and it is doing a good job of oiling my right front tire :<).
I an looking for Ideas (Cost effective ones) to repair or replace the line. I am thinking about removing the pipe from the pump flange and inserting
a pipe fitting to attach a flexible line and grafting it into the hard line were it turns horizontal going back to the case. My question is is this a feasible repair??
Or does someone have a Vane Pump Pressure line they want to sell because they upgraded to the newer type pump?
Thanks in advance,
Sam

It is feasible to replace a steel line with hose. Attaching it to the pump shouldn't be a problem, just an adapter. Grafting it to the steel line can be done with a hydraulic compression fitting. But, what kind of condition is the existing line? Any way to go all the way with hose?

If there is a supplier near you that makes hydraulic hoses, might give them a call, see what's available. Some bigger shops have the capacity to make custom steel lines.

My basic problem is the line is leaking too close to where the pipe is braised on Flange that mounts the pipe to the pump. There would not be enough pipe to graft on to. I think I can remove the pipe from the mounting Flange and install a pipe fitting to attach a hose. I only want to replace about a one foot length of the pipe.
Going to my local tractor dealer/repair shop to see what is available in parts to do the repair. They can make up the short piece of hydraulic hose I want to connect to the good pipe I have that runs to the rear.
