Hi guys I am i new to this site and hope to get some info.Even better i would like to find and expert on my machine that could answer all my questions but ill start with one for now haha. My current issue is that my temp light comes on when my temperature gauge is not even close to hot. It flickers once and while and sometimes even goes out for a short time. A constant buzzer also goes off when the light is on and is very annoying. The temp gauge will eventually get into the orange on the gauge but will never climb into the red. I am not sure if I'm overheating or if the gauge is inaccurate. Anyone have any suggestions??

Not familiar with that exact model, but applying general theory...

Find the temperature sending unit on the engine. It will be screwed into the water jacket near the
thermostat housing or in the cylinder head. Follow the wire, look for damage to the wire like pinched,
burned, mouse chewed, anything that would let it intermittently short to ground. To determine if it's the
right wire, temporally unplug it from the sender, place it where it can't go to ground. The temp gauge
should now read cold all the time. If the gauge reads cold, but occasionally gives the false alarm, the
wire is still shorted somewhere. If it reads cold and the false alarm is gone, replace the sender.

Again, this is just a guess without specific knowledge, could be something more in depth if electronics are
involved.

Found the temp sender no problem. When I unplug it the temp gauge doesn't work but temp light and buzzer stay on. There is also a temp switch which is on the cylinder head. When
unplugged the temp light and buzzer is off. Going by that i would say the switch is the issue. Going to order a new one. Thanks again for the help.
