Fine screens

I don't think there's a chance of finding a new one, so i was wondering if you guys had ways to clean this up?

if ferrous, try electrolysis.

otherwise carb cleaner dip would probably get just about anything not nailed down..

*googles electrolysis* ... wow! cool! :) think i'll give that a try! thanks! Having a jug of carb cleaner around would be nice too. When i was a kid, i remember a friend of mine cleaning pennies with vinegar and baking soda,,, forgot all about that one... Thanks again soundguy, hey that combine's coming along, i'm up to the motor now, pics coming soon :)

Get a 12v bat charger, 1-5a fine, then some sodium carbonate, washing soda. Negative to the piece being cleaned, positive to sacraficial anodes. Steel or iron, but not stainless. Expanded metal scrap is good. Don't let anodes touch cleaning piece. More soda or closer anodes makes faster cleaning. I start with a cup per 5g water

Thanks, i was surprised to learn i have everything on the list, i just need to put it together. Hopefully this weekend i can give it a try.

Well, here's how it went this morning, thanks again

Yes it did, i was pleasantly surprised. I could even notice remnants of red paint. :) A better quality scratch pad would have been a good thing, but i just used a regular kitchen one, still, removed most of the rust. Thanks again.
