News from last fall topic (too old to reply)
I got my mechanic on the hydraulic system and he found the 3 points internal control valve had a broken internal spring. I had a spare one on a donor tractor I bought for parts and I bought all new seals and "o"rings so my mechanic could put it back together like new. It now operates without a flaw.
Incidentally, he also replaced the single cylinder controlling the bucket angle because it was leaking and too weak and too fast for the task.
I tought everything was fine until I had to get the carb cleaned and refurbished. Looks like the gas filter failed and suddenly most jets got obstructed. First time I took it out and back on. Quite scary at first, but rewarding results.
Just as I was ready to celebrate, the starter stopped responding... I quickly found out the main lead between the key and the starter relay had shorted and was sectionned in two pieces. This was the easiest and least expensive repair !
I hope this is the beginning of a trouble free season !
