have a Ford 340 that i ran dry of fuel,i connot get the system bled or get the tractor running since
unfortunately this tractor predates fuel prime pumps so your using the starter to Barr the engine to bleed/prime the fuel system
ive since had to replace the battery and fried a starter trying to get this thing running
my question is has anyone ,or is there a way to add a prime pump to get this thing bled and running,,,i really dont feel like frying yet another starter
ive tried bleeding #1 cylinder only,#1 and 2 at the same time no joy,i just get a dribble,no spray,,,ive pretty much tried all combinations of all 3 cylinders
replaced filter and got good flow from filter bleed
im at my wits end,any and all help would be immensely appreciated
thanks, and at this point any suggestion is welcome,,,Dave
