I have a 640 that will start, then dies when you try to move it or use it. I rebuilt the carb last winter worked fine then started doing it this fall. Any help will be welcomed.

First thing to do is check the spark. You need a good blue/white in color that will jump a 1/4 inch gap or more at all four plug wires. Then check gas flow at carb by pulling the drain plug. Let it flow a couple minutes. Catch the gas to look for water/dirt in the gas.
