:D Hi guy's I'm new here and I 'm in need of some help.
I have a John Deere 830A 1974 utility tractor diesel 3 cylinder, the hand & foot throttle spring broke,I took it apart to replace the spring, now I can't get the three parts back in sequence,so the hand throttle can work independent from the foot pedal.does anyone know how this goes back together? you will be greatly appreciated for ever.

Thanks in advance:
Ken :?

Is this the spring that broke?

Here's the rest of the throttle linkage, not showing the foot throttle attachment:

:D Hi Bob: Yes that is the spring. Now the problem is putting it all back together again. That's where I need the help sir.Where did you find the diagram?
thanks Ken

It's gonna take a little figuring how that spring goes, to keep the lever that's keyed to the shaft and the one that's free to turn pinched together against the stop tabs on the levers.

I think I have an I&T manual for that 830, but it's unlikely to show a close detail of that area.

I'll try to remember to take a look when I get to the shop this afternoon.

Thanks Bob ,I think we are getting some where ,I'm counting on you to be my mentor on this. This is a great little tractor, and I need it for this spring for making food plots .
Thanks again my friend.
