I started the tractor yesterday when it was quite cold - 20 deg. F. After trying to lift the front loader and failing, i let it warm up for a bit, then tried again, this time there was no pressure at all. Now, When I start the tractor, the hydraulics will try to work for a couple of minutes, then stop working altogether. Is there a bypass valve that could be stuck or something?

Well, I topped off The Hydraulic Fluid, and what came out of the plug on the side down by the clutch was the color of chocolate milk instead of the dark brown of the Hy-Tran. Does that definitely mean there is water in the fluid?

Yes that color means you have water/condensation
in the fluid. Get it warmed up some how and change
the fluid. I think your main problem right now is
your filter is iced up. I saw that before on the
560 & 460's. We had one of both models back home
and that happened to us once on each tractor.
