Super clean, simple green, 409, or red hot and water with a brush. No matter what soap you use, it takes a brush to emulsify it. I get a lot done with bench brushes of different levels of stiffness.

I would spray it down with a degreaser like greased lightning and let it soak and then use a pressure washer to do the mechanical work. That works pretty well for me. Degreasers will however strip the wax off too and take the shine off as well.

I've had good luck with Dawn or Palmolive dish detergents -- I'll use those before I resort to Purple Power or the like. I've had painted surfaces damaged by (undiluted) Purple Power, but dish detergent doesn't present this risk.

Liquid Tide laundry detergent will cut oil and grease. I use it as a hand cleaner and it works better than anything else that I have ever tried.
