Belt Pulley Restoration?

Hello,
Looking to restore an old Belt Pulley mounted on the right side of my Massey 101 Jr.
As these are used on about every tractor, I'm asking here.
Does anyone have links, ideas, or experience with how to restore these, from disassembly, removal of old material, and installing new pulley 'fabric', etc??

There is a company called Paper Pulleys in Columbia,TN that restores pulleys. They advertise in Red Power and some other magazines.
 
You need to know the angle of the v-belt . If the angle is 36 degrees you set the toolpost on the lathe to 18 for each side . Then deeper into the pulley you can machine a cleaner groove.Machinery's Handbook will cover the angles for pulleys.
 
I believe you are asking about the flat belt pulley and if that is correct and as noted by an earlier response Paper Pulleys Inc. does an excellent job of restoring the old belt pulleys. You will be surprised how nice a restored one will look. In case you don't know they are made from hundreds of layers of very thin paper compressed together and held compressed with the retaining pins. The belt dressing that adheres to the pulley gives them the appearance of being something other then paper on edge, Hal.
 
If you don't want to pay somebody to do this you can do it yourself.
I restored mine on my John Deere M using 3/4" oak boards.
I cut the circles using one of the paper discs that was still good from the pulley as a pattern.
After I had them cut I bought new machine screws to go all the way through to hold all paper discs and new oak discs and outer metal rings together.
It turned out looking good.
Don't know how it would hold up under use but I don't plan on using mine with a belt. See photo showing new oak discs on the outer edge.
I think I had to use three discs to replace the bod paper discs.
