Allis Chalmers M100 road grader

We have a Allis Chalmers M100 road grader.
It has been stored in a shed for about 25 years, without use.
We recently decided to use the grader & checked the engine oil. That was ok & also all other fluids.
We worked the grader for about 15 hours. There was a small amount of intermittent smoke from the sump breather pipe. The engine exhaust was normal. The engine was using a small amount of engine oil.
After the 15 hours however, the sump breather pipe was emitting a constant flow of smoke, with some oil also.
There was air pressure in the sump; as when the dipstick was checked (with the engine running) there was pressure emitting from the dipstick hole.
Can anyone suggest the answer to the problem ? We are wondering if the piston rings are sticking & allowing combustion gases down into the sump. Is there a way of fixing this, without having to strip the engine down & renewing the rings ?
Thanks

I think you're on the right track, stuck rings... Bad news is since the problem got worse with running, they are probably damaged beyond any chemical treatment can fix. But, nothing to loose by trying, especially if it was running good when it was parked.

Get some ATF fluid or Marvel Mystery Oil or you're favorite concoction of oil, acetone, whatever you think will dissolve carbon, get some into the cylinders, let it sit for a week or so. Spin the engine through to blow out the excess before you re install the glow plugs or injectors.

In the meantime, change the oil. I've heard synthetic is good for cleaning up a carboned up engine, expensive bet though, but at least go with a good quality oil. Also be sure the thermostat is working, not running cold.
