I recently purchased a Farmall 560 diesel WF and discovered that the front spindles are damaged beyond repair. What is the technique for removing the steering arm from the top of the knuckle assembly ? And when this arm is removed - will the knuckle assembly simply slide down out of the vertical tube of the axle extension ? Figure I will replace the 2x bushings and bearing while I have it apart....any tips for this exercise ?
