hey everybody, i have a 1934 W12 that has a stuck clutch. since it doesn't actually have a bell housing like you would find on say a Farmall A, it has a lid over my clutch. Anyways when i took that lid off it was filled to the top with mouse poop and pee, i'm sure that didn't help the stuck clutch. Since then i have cleaned out the clutch spotless and put probably a whole can of PB blaster into it trying to free it but its still stuck. we took the bolts out to break the tractor in half but now its just resting with a engine crane holding the motor, front frame piece and front end but its still all one piece because we cant get the part of the clutch to slide off. Just seeing if anyone has been in a similar situation and seeing what you did. (and no i didn't spray the clutch plates with PB blaster, i'm talking about the whole mechanism behind the plates leading to the transmission.)

Can you get to the pressure plate bolts, separate the pressure plate from the flywheel, should come apart then.

If not, a method I have used for separating rusted splines is to intentionally misalign the engine from the transmission housing, drive a wedge in one side, pry bar, etc. Then remove the plugs and spin the engine with the starter. If the starter is bolted to the transmission, try turning the engine by the front bolt, any way to turn it while prying the splines apart. The twisting should slowly work the splines apart. Just be careful!
