Hard to sreer

Have 231s. I can turn without problem in one direction, but try to go left and there is a lot of resistance. Don't know if adjustment on steering rod(under cover near battery) has anything to do with it.Can't seem to solve problem. Would purchase manual if it'll help. Can reply @ [email protected].

I had a similar problem with one of my super 90s about a year back.
The PS pump would turn the spindle the one way easily, but not the other.
There was a bit of wear in the axle, and the spindle rod would push into the wear spot and the PS pump would not turn it back. When I jacked the front end up, so there was no pressure on the wheels, the PS pump would turn it both ways, easily.
Turned out the one spindle was nearly seized up going through the axle. I managed to get the grease nipple working and I greased and oiled until it freed up. Works OK now.
