Hoping someone can help me troubleshoot a problem I'm having with my Massey Harris 44 gs. It was running good, not burning oil etc. but at high throttle it started to spit and sputter while blowing white smoke. It then stalled, I rebuilt the carb, replace fuel filter and checked lines but it won't start again. Any ideas? Thanks.

White smoke at high throttle is indication of weak spark. Especially if accompnied by eye burning, raw gas smell.

Check for spark at the plugs. Could be bad plugs, cap or rotor, coil, wires, points, cond (if so equipped).

Thank you for your suggestion Steve. Replaced plugs, coil and
cap. Fired up first try. I appreciate you taking time out to help.
