I'm searching for a "Swaggart nut" (a 2-piece clamping rear axle nut for use when the threads have been stripped).

Only info I can find are posts more than 10 years old.

Anyo9ne know where they can be purchased?

If for an 8N or NAA Ford, this site has them.

If for something else, you MAY have to reveal a clue as to what you are working with to get some help!
Aw, NUTS

id you ever have any luck with those things on old Fords, Bob? I never did.

We've used a few. Usually, by the time the axle threads are stripped, the hub splines are shot, anyhow, making it a tough job for the repair nut to keep the hub tight

I have seen them hold the wheel on for a while 'til the axle and hub can be replaced.

A crutch, or a little better, 'till proper repairs can be made, I guess!
