Run a point file through the points and check the
gap. If that doesn't help I would replace the condenser to see if that fixes the problem.

If none of that helps to fix the problem, that leaves your coil or your mag's magnets that may be weak with magnetism. You can check your magnets for magnetism by touching them with a flat blade screwdriver. Hal
 
This Wico mag had weak magnets I took it in on a trade for one that was working. Any mag repair shop can remagnatize them. Hal

If it is in fact new it should have some sort of warranty use the warranty. Many places if you do any thing to it you can void any warranty it has
 
Call the company where you purchased the mag. Make sure your grounding switch isn't causing the no-fire. Hal
 
thanks for the advice. I got this mag several years ago and the paperwork is long gone. I will check all and let you know.
