massey ferguson 1100 injector pump filer

I removed the filter along with the spring and plunger inside the top of the injector pump on my massey 1100. I'm not 100 % sure which direction the spring and plunger go back in. The small plunger has a larger and smaller end, which end goes towards the spring and does this go in first? Thanks,

The longer step goes inside the heavy top spring, the shorter step goes inside the pressure control sleeve for the small spring. The cap nut fitting then holds the heavy spring in place inside the filter.
