45 John Deere BN fuel tank repair

A 45 JD BN given to me by family. It was gone thru about 10 yrs ago and the "innards" are all brand new. MAYBE 20 hours of parade time on em, absolutely rust free. The skin and new tanks were removed and leaned up in a building about 7 years ago; the fuel tank accumulated condensation water and rusted out in one place about 2 by 6 inches. the rest of the tank isnt even rusted inside. How is the best way to repair this? Fiberglass over wire, patch welded on, JB Weld ? Yall know more than I and I value your opinions.

I tried JB weld the gas ate through it 1.5 years. This time I will fiberglass it then gas tank sealer on the inside. Steve
