Kubota 1630 won't start

My kubota 1630 won't start. I jump started it yesterday and it ran fine, but the battery was so dead it wouldn't charge up. I changed the battery today with one that has a bit more cranking power than the original. When I turned the key to the left it clicked a few times while heating up, then when I turned the key to start the tractor, I heard a single click and then nothing. Now the red light light doesn't even come on. Anyone have any ideas to what is wrong?

(quoted from post at 15:52:55 09/13/14) check cables, ends, and ground connection
Cables are tight, not sure where the ground wire is, I'll try to find it in the manual. I also noticed that the cranking amps were 736, but I think it needs to be at least 850?

no neet to look in the manual for the ground wire. just look at the battry post and follow the heavy cable to the chassis.

cca and other amp listings on the battery will excede what the starter will actually draw.

I doubt your starter sees more ( or as much as )than a couple hundred amps in use... not talking locked rotor.. but running, starting..

bad ground causes problems such as this. so do bad and coroded cables. and insuficiently sized cables.

if there is a NS switch.. check it as well as fuseable links that might feed your dash.
