MF 202 Industrial clutch release bearing

Posted this down on the Massey Ferguson board too.

Hello to all, and thanks for all the help so far on "Bull" the 202 Industrial. Got the bottom end of the engine back together and waiting on the valve overhaul kit so I can get the head in the shop, hopefully next week.
Thought I"d check a few things while I"m waiting and decided the clutch release bearing should be replaced, rather noisy and seems dry. Only problem is, I can"t get the carrier out of the bearing... I"ve tapped on it a little bit, but nothing gives. Anyone ever replaced the release bearing, if so, what did it take? Am I missing something?? The 202 manual doesn't cover this..
As always, thanks for all replies, you folks are great!!

Have you got the new bearing yet?

If not, it may come as an assembly.

If it comes as just the bearing, look at it, then you can determine where it separates. Shouldn't be too hard to get apart.

Thanks for the replies.
Steve, looking at what they offer here for my tractor, the bearing is seperate from the carrier, so, it needs to come off.
R.F, I was thinking of the press off aspect, only it doesn"t have a lip on the inside to set a drift on for the press. Don"t want to break off the ears...
