I;m rebuilding my 172 ci in a 851 broke it all down no problem,
Now its time to rebuild putting it all together following the shop manual I'm at the oil pump and on the bottom of it you have two pipes one has the inlet screen on the other goes into your block and up your oil filter in the manual it shows a retaining nut and a seal that holds the pipe to the block the block is tapped there like a fitting of some sort would screw in there. I don't remember taking one out. If I need one does anyone know the part numbers or where I might get one.
