Drawbar and hitch

What is the best way to mount a ball hitch on a Ford 9N? The drawbar seems to me to be an unstable point of mounting?

This is the official Ford way of doing it. You can find the parts you need to put this type together at salvage yards and on Ebay.

There was also a different kind of drawbar that mounted up under the tractor like this, it may have been after market. I see new ones for sale at various tractor parts suppliers.

The one in the second photo can't be mounted to a
9n/2n without making some alterations. TheOldHokie
makes and sells adapter pieces so you can mount the
one in the second photo to a 9n/2n
Get him a shout in the ford 9n/2n/8n section.
