damage threads marvel schebler tsx114 help

Rebuilding my MS tsx114, the brass valve holding the float broke off I used a easy out to remove the rest except the brass is in the threads see top off picture. Any ideas on how to remove the brass from threads? Thanks in advance.

Get the new part, measure the size and thread pitch, get a tap and just tap them out.

That UNS 27 tap is going to be a hard one to find. And expensive. If there is a carb shop in town they might have one.

VacLee thanks for the generous offer . I got it fixed today. I stopped by Bold machine works in decatur, il.( Same city that made marvel schebler carbs) he tapped it out .fit fine. He said they only had 1tap that size. thanks everyone john
