Cracked exhaust on my 350U LP

Welding or brazing on the exhaust? Or do I depend on the choice of the shop I pick to do the work?

Alan,

oxy/acet would be the best method , any form

of arc would be the worst choice. Brazing may

work ,if you can get it clean enough and it is

not burned too badly.

Looks like a crack in #1 port as well as the

break in the center. Read the discussion on

the tool board.

Thanks for the info. The task is WAY beyond my meagre skills. I just needed to be able to talk semi-intelligently with whomever I hire to do the job. One does not practice on pieces made of solid unobtanium.
