Recently I have had a Super M that is leaking hydraulic fluid rather fast out the bottom. We have limped along with the fluid and pump and such but today with the old haybine it basically poured out. How much work or what need to be done to replace a seal like that? Is it better to do it yourself or have someone do that work?

I'm assuming your talking about a belly pump. Not hard to change the seal but you have to remove the pump from the tractor. Its heavy so its really a 2 person job to do it safely. Once its out of the tractor you need a brass rod you can stick down inside to the hold the gears and the drive piece will unscrew. Can't remember which way it turns. Take out the old seal and put in the new one. I don't know if Case carries them but there should be a number on the seal - you can take that number to a place like NAPA and they can get you one. I've found a floor jack helps to raise and lower the pump - someone to steady it and someone to work the jack.
