JD620 gasoline - Gasoline tube vent installation

My JD620 gasoline siphons gas out around the filler cap and down the hood if there is just 5 gallons in the tank. I have a new filler cap and added extra gaskets and problem still exists. The parts manual lists part number AA5796R(Vent tube), A5161R(Vent tube drain)and A5171R(Vent Tube extension). My question is that what I need and if so, how are the parts installed. The installation isn't evident to me by looking at the parts manual picture. Thanks.

My 620 did the same thing. One summer baling hay I smelled gas and felt gas as it was spraying on my arm. Stopped using the 620. I checked into it and found a small hole drilled through the gas cap. I am guessing a "vent" from the previous owner. I used compressed air and blew through the tank vent. Small tube at bottom of radiator. Puff of dust later I was sure I had it fixed. With the gas cap off I could feel air from the top of the tank while blowing in the vent . I put a screw in the cap to fix the hole. Finished baling. New cap with vent now. Cap leaks a little gas. Two gaskets and it still seeps a little. Tank vent is open. New cap with vent. Gas tank heat shield in place. Like you said only about five gallons or so of gas. I think I will replace one of the rubber gaskets with cork and run two cork gaskets. That should make the cap tight.
