Ok,,, the 720 JD diesel I've got is stuck,
Gonna put some marvel mystery oil in the plug holes and let it sit might rock it back and forth,to see if the rings go free.
I'm kinda excited about this to see if I can get it started.

When you say 720 DIESEL but then mention PLUG HOLES, it must be a V4 Gas Pony Starting Motor. Not to discourage you but getting that Pony Motor unstuck and running good enough to start that Diesel is not something a rookie or the timid or someone short on cash is gonna accomplish very fast.

But hey you may luck out so best wishes n go for it........

There is or was somebody in Greenmagazine selling rebuilt starting engine long blocks. Not a bad idea and the price was reasonable.
If somebody didn't care about a leaking starting engine water pump seal. The connecting rods will be ruined.
A clean fuel system and a working ignition system are vital.
You will need a operator's manual . Beginners guessing have smashed the hydraulic drive, pto drive and the starting engine.
1-800-522-7448 for the manual on CD or hard copy.
