601 workhorse shooting fluid from shifter boot

Hi I have a 601 Workhorse that I bought a few months ago and it seem to run fine. Now I am having trouble with it. It runs fine but it keeps pumping the hydraulic fluid out of the shifter boot. I have no clue what is causing this. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks, Tim.

Multiple threads on this problem on the Ford board. Lots of specific step by step instructions with many pics. The problem is that your hydraulic pressure tube through the transmission has a hole rusted through it.
