How is the best way to sharpen blades on a 4 king kutter mower not sure if blades can be removed. May be rusted... thanks in advance john

Use an air impact wrench to remove them. I would use 6 point sockets so you don't round off the hex. Then sharpen them on a bench grinder. My old 31-inch Toro Grass King has left hand threads. Hal

you can remove them.. or if you have the means like a gin pole or loader.. flip the machine up and grind them in place.

there are tangible benefits to either.

1, if you flip her up and stay chain her, you can drain the oil itn he gear box and dump in some diesel to clean out then refill with oil after sharpening.

if you remove them.. I personally like to replace then shoulder bolts and nuts.

checkt he lower seal for leakage.. etc.. and output shaft for paly ( bearing ).. which will elad to seal leakage as the loose shaft hogs the seal...e tc.
