Can someone give me some advise on my 1940 9n. I need help to identify what type wheels on my ford and where I can get parts or what is the most sensible approach to getting my tractor fixed.
I put a new tire on last year I probably would have changed both of them but could not get one of the wheels to break loose by loosening the lugs and turning to pop it loose. It just wont pop loose. Any way. Got one new tire on 9.5 x 32. the wheel was good. Now Ive had the other tire go bad and now after loosening the lugs and trying to break it loose again I can see down in past the tire that the inner rim is very badly rusted all along the inner wheel. I am including pictures of the wheel with new tire for identifying and the bad wheel with tire.
Ive read that if you can not find replacement wheel you can put another size wheel and tire on it. This is where I need advise and also how to get that stuck wheel off. thanks in advance. It seems I cant upload pictures. I try to explain what my wheels are like. they are dished out from the tire where most tractor wheels are dished in from the axle to the tire.
