I have a ford 600 series early fifties model i bbelieve that wont stay running. It ran fine then just stopped one day. It will fire up for a few seconds and then just die. After it kills out you have to wait for a minute or two to restart. Think its flooding by not getting enough fire but ive replaced plugs, rotator cap, points and no better results. Any ideas?

Very likely it is running out of gas. Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the carb. It should run a small steady stream for at least a half minute. If it slows to a drip you have a blockage.

Didnt even think about the coil ill try that after the free one, thanks for advice.
