So far, I can only find new aftermarket pistons to fit a 70 gasoline, but not true LPG. I bought some used standard LPG pistons without having the luxury of seeing them first. One piston is too damaged to use. These are original JD pistons.
I have an aftermarket LPG piston that"s useable, but it is lighter in weight than the one good JD piston. Think two or three ounces lighter.
A guy offered to sell me two JD 70 LPG tractors, but that would be silly to buy them just to gamble for the pistons which may or may not be oversized or scored.
Anybody know where I can find some standard size LPG pistons?
