when i bought this tractor the other day we knew it had a leak in the radiator. DH got it out in one piece today. i think i may have found the problem, do you think i can take it to the radiator repair shop, or do you think I'll get laughed at ? i really hate to replace it with a china one.

Depends on what's available in your area.

Not too many real radiator shops left, the
plastic/aluminum radiators and the sands of time
have just about made them extinct.

But if there is a shop near you, take it by, see
if they can recore it. That way you get to keep
your original tanks. They will need to see it
first to see if the tanks are good and get you a
price on the core.

Recoring will give you a better quality radiator
but will be more expensive.

PS... Ask around. Not all shops are equal, check
their reputation first!

If you have it recored, the new core will likely be made in China too. There are still some aftermarket radiators out there that are not made in China. Just have to ask.
